@Chuck767 if you had router and AP before, I see no reason why you can not do it again. Setting up an AP is harder than setting a router up to a modem.

@LittleJo some devices have issues when you switch routers. On the device, delete/forget the network and re set it up. See it often on Apple devices but others also.

@the_p0ssum not sure if Mesh is an issue or not. One thing I do after making router changes is to power cycle it as I have encountered changes that did not take effect.

@f14bdriver look at the power cord block as it may handle dual voltage. Also check for the cycles (50 vs 60). Other issue is the router may not work in a different country due to differences such as...
