@Smakmauz Yes, tha's correct. Connecting a standalone EAP650 will extend your wireless coverage outside. EAP650 with an ethernet backhaul will give you a better bandwidth and stability than a mesh...

@tomboc Using Nighthawk app you should be able to connect the RE to Deco X55. Most probbaly its mesh is not compatible with Deco mesh but it should work as a regular extender.

@Smakmauz You can run an ethernet cable to an EAP650 and set its SSID the same as in your AX55. This won't be a mesh network but your device would decide to where it should connect (AX55 or EAP650)...
