@dana3 It's highly unlikely that your home router would block an SSH outgoing connection. You have to check for any special configuration on your old router or any other network devices in you LAN...

@jnaizer TL-WR3002X has a LAN port to which you can connect with an ethernet cable and check if you can access its WebGUI. Upon successful reset the the default IP address is 192.168.0.1.
