HS105 plugs(3) used to work with Alexa, now all say "unresponsive"
Hello. I have three HS 105 plugs right now and have never had an issue controlling them with Alexa. Starting a day or so ago, all three plugs fail to be controlled by Alexa, it just says "Sorry somethings wrong..." for all three, says to disable, then re-enable, which I have done many times without success. It lists all three as "Skill is unreponsive" under the device plug section. Even if I delete and re-add no joy, from either the Kasa or Alexa app. The Kasa app has no problem turning them on and off. I did try the steps on the page to enable them on Alexa(which as mentioned has worked for months and months), and my wireless connections are fine, internet up, changing the remote control status in the app rediscovers on Alexa, but no good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I said:
"EP10 units are still not working with Alexa, but are working in Kasa app" and provided details.
I solved the issue (explanation below).

I solved my problem.
I had to go to https://alexa.amazon.com/
(or, equivalently)
https://alexa.amazon.com/spa/index.html#cards
Access "Skills" on the left
Search for TP-Link Kasa
Disable this skill
Enable this skill (this has you sign in using the TP-Link Kasa credentials within the Alexa website)
Then I could go to Alexa app and it was able to find and set up all the devices.
*PROBABLY* in all of my trouble-shooting on 12/7 before I found out the problem was caused by the Amazon server outage, I reset my TP-Link Kasa password, and that is why I had to disable and re-enable the Kasa skill. This is similar to RJS224's solution earlier in post #51 in this thread.

Hi @2insane If plug flash green and orange, please reconfigure them in Kasa app first. We have an FAQ that should help. What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?
As your concern is with reconfiguration, I recommend start a new thread here with case details like Error in the APP, model of phone and OS version, and we will look into that further. Thank you.

Same problem here. Have 5 HS105 mini plugs and all are unresponsive according to Alexa. Tried resetting one and it cannot find the network much less connect to Alexa. All are blinking blue since last night -they just can't connect. What's up?

Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini
model HS 105
dont know what firmware is
i used this product for about 6 months with no issues. The lamp was turned off by the wall switch by mistake (it has happened before with no problem). When I tried to reconnect, I got a message that there was no wireless connection. I have several other devices using the WiFi and none of them is having a problem. I tried to unplug and replugged several times. The blue light came on for about 20 seconds, but then turned red. I had the app "forget" the device and then tried to install it again. Same thing happened. This device was pretty inexpensive and I keep thinking, "You get what you pay for", but if I can get it to work again, I would be very happy.
