@Kyleking777 It's such a shame because in every other sense, these are the best strips available. Has anyone here managed to hack their own connectors using third party accessories such as litcessory etc?

How So?  The subject of this post was about jumpers which allow a strip to be connected to a another strip in either different angles or distances than normally allowed by just added another strip.  This would be what my last response was related to.  We do not, nor are we planing on making any jumper or extension other than the KL430E which can extended the product up to 33 feet.  If the wire extension was talking about the power cord then using a simple extension cable should work.

Nothing like a company telling the customer how they are wrong…insert eye roll. Making an extension and right angle adapter would be cheap easy money and most importantly serve your customer well.

They don't care. They have your money. I have been waiting for adapters (90/45) for years. I will no longer recommend their products for my customers because of this. Failure to listen to your customer base is a huge red flag.

I just purchased $300 worth of these strip lights for the wet bar in my recently finished basement.  I cannot believe that TP-Link doesn't offer extension wires to connect nearby segments of light strip.  I want to add these lights under and above cabinets as well as to the under siide of several shelves and keep all of the controllers behind the wall for a clean look.  Now I have to decide if I should hack these myself or move away from Kasa and I just finished installing numerous Kasa light switches in the same area.  Kasa/TP-Link - please listen to you customers!

i disagree it seems everyone is asking to be able to link around a 90' bend or a jumper cable. I've just purchased these lights and i think there fantastic but not everyone wants up to 33 metres in a straight line, people have different shape kitchens and units.

Did anyone else try the workaround that Brettski had? Seems to be a perfect solution for extension and 90-degree turns.  I guess I'll have to report back since no one else has verified.

Great day,

S

If you tried this, did you use the waterproof or non-waterproof kit? I messaged @Brettski but no response; looks like he only posted this one time.

Thanks!
