Rapid Flashing Red Light on KS230
Just installed the dimmer 3-way kit and having a issue with the flashing red light.
On the satellite switch I tried every possible wire combination and I either get no light or in only one instance I get a rapid flashing red light.
Any suggestions?

Hi @ThePie
Can I have some photos showing how main KS230 and old 3-way switches are installed, some forum users might be able to help take a look.
Can you manually turn on/ off light when pressing main / satellite KS230? Did you try to swap the TR1/TR2 travelers on the satellite KS230 before?

Hi Solla. This is the only original picture that I have. In regards to the new Master switch that was installed, the wires are installed per the directions. The new Master switch picture that I currently have is with the switch already placed back in the box. Can take it out and take a picture if needed.

No

Hello @ThePie
Yes, please help take out the main KS230 and take a photo of wiring in the wall box, that would help. I'd like to escalate your case to look into that further, please check your email inbox for TKID220330089.

I had a set of 3-way normal switches (HS210) which I installed in place of the 3-way dimmer switches. The installed normal 3-way switches are shown below. Everything works perfectly as installed below. Seems to be a issue with the dimmer 3-way switches. Any ideas on what can be done to resolve the dimmer switch issue?
Master / Switch 1
Satalite / Switch 2

Resolved the issue.
- Returned Smart Dimmer 3-Way Switch
- Purchased a new Smart Dimmer 3-Way Switch
- Installed using same setup.
The first set of smart dimmers was a bad set it seems.

@tplink @Support @tplink @Solla-topee wondering how to open a case for a similar issue. Mine were working fine for several months, I have several that are just dimmers and some that are just on/off. All of those have been great as well. Then one day, I noticed that one dropped, then another a few days later and now I have four 3way dimmers that are all in various states of being offline or connected but they do nothing. I find it odd that all four of them have all gone out roughly around the same time. Did you guys kill them with a bad firmware flash?
