Model: KS220
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1.0.8

Hello. I helped install 11 KS220 switches in my relatives house. 8 of the switches were V1 and 3 of the switches were V1.6. The switches that are Hardware V1 do not turn off when the brightness level is set to 1% through the app or by physically pressing the switch. If we set the brightness level to 2%, then we are able to turn off the light from the app and the physical switch. This issue does not exist with the 3 switches that are V1.6. Another issue we noticed with V1 of the KS220 switches is that the minimum brightness level does not actually get set after going through the calibration process for the brightness. So if we set the minimum brightness to where the lights are barely on when going through the calibration process and then when we change the brightness to 1%, the lights are at about 10% brightness instead of the brightness that had actually been set where the light should have been barely on in the calibration process. We have tested both of these problems on all 8 of the V1 switches and all of them have these same two problems. The firmware is up to date to the latest version 1.0.8 for all the switches. I personally have a couple of V1.6 and V1.8 of the KS220 switches and don't have these problems at all. Any help in solving these issues would be greatly appreciated.

How to update firmware of Kasa smart devices?

If other smart switches have the same problem, please refer to the following tips for a try.
1. Wait for a few seconds after pressing the on/off button on the switch, and then check if the connected device will be on/off.
2. Go to the smart switch's Device Settings> Smart Dimmer Configuration page, and set the Fade On/Off Speed to Instant for a try.
3. Go to the smart switch's Device Settings> Dimming Calibration page, set the minimum level brightness of the connected bulb a little higher than before, and check if the problem remains.

Best Regards

@Solla-topee I also have the same issue where the light will not turn off when set to 1% brightness.

I also have the same issue with a Hardware v1.0, Firmware v1.0.8 KS220. If the dimmer is set to 1% or the first dot on the face plate, the lights won't turn off through app or physical button. I don't know when it started, but it was not this case in Dec 2022 when I first installed them.

@snowman_7 I'm also seeing this same exact problem... I've done calibration but definitely seems like a software bug.
