My KASA HS200 worked great since early 2023. Today, the switch does mot work and the LED is stuck on red. Tried a factory reset to no avail, switch odd the room breaker foe 2 minutes but no luck. The switch works in manual mode, but NOT in "SMART" Kasa oe Alexa mode.

 

Any suggestions?

The Red Light is normally just an indicator that the switch has become disconnected from your Wi-Fi.

When you reset the switch, did you see any change in the behavior of the LED? The LED will change to show that a reset has successfully started. 

 

You may want to delete the devices from your Kasa App and set them up as new devices after a factory reset if you cannot get them to reconnect with the soft reset.

 

Does the status of the device change in the Kasa App when your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi that the switch was connected to?
