I find the smart actions and automation for the cameras lacking.  

All I can do is enable/disable privacy mode and make automation around that.

Home and away mode are decent but there is no way to create widgets for them. Which actually has motion detection off/on features.

 current, I have a  quick disable/enable privacy mode widgets. I use these when I detect friendly people/pets using areas i wanted mointored. However I often forget to turn it off and camera will be recording nothing for hours. I had to set up a automation pattern to check to see if privacy mode is on and then turn if off after a delay.

 Yes I know I can open app and manually turn off privacy mode but i will still get a motion notification. If app is still open.

Sometimes I like to check in on my pets and don't want to get a notification  while I'm doing cuz system detects motion. No quick way to disable motion detection and if I use home away modes I will run into same issue if I forget. privacy mode wouldn't help in this situation either.

As an example I wouldn't mind the motion going off if I could turn off notifications for say 30mins.

I have had blink and wyze and they all support checking feeds with the ability to turn off motion detection for a brief amount of time or on a schedule.

 Smart functions I believe would be helpful for automation:

Turn off/on notification.

Disable/enable motion detection.

HOME/AWaY mode 

Home or away mode widgets.

Any suggestions or work around would be great too.
