FAQ: How to Enable the 24/7 Capture on a Tapo Battery Camera?

 

Ditch battery limitations and experience 24/7 capture. With automatic capture intervals, every moment is recorded, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed.

 

Detection (Clip-Based): Recordings Begin Once a Motion Event is detected and will record the View According to your settings.

Continuous Recording: Nonstop recording where the oldest recordings are overwritten when the SD Card is Full.

24/7 Capture: While there are no events within the camera’s view, the camera will record at 1fps. When an event is detected, the camera will automatically switch its recording to 15fps.

§24/7 Capture enables battery-powered cameras to take images at customizable intervals, such as every 1s, 5s, 10s, or up to 60s, when no motion is detected, ensuring round-the-clock surveillance while conserving power. When motion is detected, the camera automatically switches to normal quality and records, reducing missed events and false alerts.
