Hi,
You can refer to Case 4 in the following instructions for troubleshooting when you fail to set up the camera.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?
 

If the same behavior occurs, please confirm the following information.
  1. On your phone's Settings > Wi-Fi page, please forget your router's Wi-Fi, then reconnect to it by typing the password manually, and ensure your password is correct.
  2. Confirm that your router does not have special settings, such as MAC Filtering and Access Control, that may prevent the camera from connecting to it.
  3. Change the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi name and password to a different one(different from 5G), ensure no special characters in them, factory reset the camera, and try reconfiguring it.
