Hi.
I am planning to install the C325WB V1 near my garage door but I do not want to drill through the wall for the power cable.
I have an Ethernet cable that is stationed out side the house and thought of using it to my advantage.

For best performance and safety, we recommend using the original power adapter and cord that came with the Tapo camera to power it.
It's hard to ensure the camera's performance when it's powered via a splitter. This may cause issues such as unreliable camera operation, unexpected restarts, or even damage to the devices.
