had a older TP link router worked fine.  decided to get new one for faster? speed.  most things at home (phone, lights) connected fine to new one.  all on 2.4ghz.    i have 2 FEIT security cameras will not connect to router.  i reset and reinstalled, no connections.  also i have a Rachio sprinkler controller that keeps losing connection and i have to manually reconnect to the WiFi.  i don't know what issue is.

Hello@u7mg0 ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

For your cameras, have you tried to take a hard reset and configure them to a different network, such as a phone hotspot, for comparison?

For the Rachio sprinkler controller, its connection is unstable. You can Change channel width to avoid interference. For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust the 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz. Channels 1, 6 and 11 are generally best, but any channel can be used. You may refer to Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo).
