Setting fixed IP Address
The general Tapo instructions don't give the same menu options and I've searched everywhere in the Tapo App, but can't find anywhere that I can set a fixed IP address for these cameras?

Hi,
Typically, on the Tapo camera's Device Settings > Advanced Settings > Network Settings page, you can set a static IP address for the camera.
However, not all Tapo camera models currently support this feature. If you can't find the Static IP option in the Tapo app for your camera, it may be that the camera does not have this feature. We suggest paying attention to the firmware release notes on our official website for this camera. If a new feature is added, you can usually find the info under the firmware release notes.
Best Regards

@jeff_socal Do you have a separate router from your ISP's gateway? Or does your gateway offer any network management settings you can change? I prefer making these changes at the router with reserving the IP address. When trying to do this from the device (not specific to Tapo), I've run into situations where the router/gateway assigned the static IP to another device and there was an IP address conflict. For example, a the camera you want to change might have the IP address of X set static on the device and if it goes offline and I/you restart the network, the network might assign a PC the same IP X before the camera came online. It's a little frustrating to resolve otherwise. You can certainly set static on the device and reserve it on the router for more certainty.
