Model: Kasa HS210
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.10

So I tried installing both of the HS210 that come in the kit,  both switches are connected properly. Both red and black traveler cables are connected in the same location, red on the left and black on the right on both. Line load wires are in the correct locations, white neutrals with the bundles of neutral cables and green to the ground.

when both th smart switches are connected only the last switch to turn off the light is able to turn on the light. If I press the switch that did not turn off the light once nothing happens, but then the other switch will not turn on either if I press it a second time the switch that turn off the light last will then turn on. I've tried switch the traveler cables just to see if anything changes, but it behaves the same.

Then using the same labeled wires to replaced the slave switch with the old "dumb switch in the same configuration asides from the okd ld switch does not having a neutral cable. Everything works fine, either switch can turn on/off the lights. Lights can be turn on/off from the app regardless of switch configuration.

At this point everything works I have an extra smart switch to use, but my OCD gets the best of me and  just everything to be the same, mostly would like to know what could be causing this issue. It's doesn't add up, in my head the only explanation I can think of is it has something to do with the lack of a need for neutral cable on the "dumb switch"

Hi,
The reported phenomenon when using two HS210s may be related to the electrical wiring. You can contact the technical support team with the following information for further assistance.
  1. A brief description of the phenomenon you experienced.
  2. The pictures show the electric wiring on the HS210 and "dumb switch" when using both HS210s and when using an HS210 and a "dumb switch".

Best Regards
