The arm between the base and the camera won't tighten up enough to stay in position. It keeps dropping and virtually useless. Anyone else experiencing this and what did you do to remedy this situation?

If extra washer does not work I would use some krazy glue gel

Just based on what you are decribing I would say you may have a defective camera.  However, a common culprit of this type of situation is the tension on the power cord.  If this doesn't apply, then I would contact support to start a warranty claim.  If it does just all a litte slack in the power cord to resolve.
