Hi, 
The IR LEDs on the camera provide infrared illumination when it is in Night mode, allowing it to capture clear black-and-white images and videos in a dark environment.

 

Typically, only when the camera is in Day mode or Night mode and selects Full-Color mode on the Device Settings > Video & Display > Night Mode Settings page will the IR LEDs turn off.
