Have a few HS 200 that were working just fine. Changed my Wifi network, and obviously they all fell off. I have successfully gotten 3 back on the network, and two unsuccessful. Also have two HS220 that are refusing to reconnect and will not factory reset, Yes I hold the button for, 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds, no difference. Reset the circuit breaker, and again reset the switch. still will not connect. Physically pulled the wires from the switch, and reset after reconnecting, still will not connect. Now the really weird thing is my phone sees the device broadcasting a signal, but the app does not.

 

Just about at whits end here.

Hi, 
Typically, you can press and hold the reset button on the smart switch for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. After that, if the switch has a flashing green and amber light and the default SSID appears, it means the switch is ready to be configured.

 

Below are the instructions to set up your smart switch. As you can see Step 4 under "Steps to configure TP-Link Smart Plug via Kasa App", your phone needs to connect to the switch's default SSID, then the Tapo app will find the switch, and you can connect it to your router's Wi-Fi.
