We moved into a new house three years ago and bought several KASA switches and plugs for the new house.  Three were KS200M motion activated switches for our bathrooms.  Everything worked beautifully ever since initial installation. Three days ago, I was flipping through the dozens of unused apps on my phone and came across the KASA app.  I hadn't touched it since setting everything up. It listed all 10 of my KASA devices.  I was curious about the red dot on the bottom right of the app, clicked it, and found that all 10 devices had new firmware available.  My assumption was, they fixed a few bugs, maybe added new features, so I installed the new firmware on everything.  Now, all three motion switches won't stay on, even when you push the button to keep it on.  They time out.  I also noticed the KASA app is basically a remote on and off switch.  I can't find any info on the actual devices (ie: the hardware model, firmware version, etc.).  Two questions:  Any idea how I can fix these motion switches to stay on when I push the button?  Second, is there anyway to determine the hardware and firmware versions of these in-the-wall devices without pulling them out of the wall?

Hi,
Here is the UG of the KS200M. Usually, if the KS200M displays online in the Kasa app, on the Devices tab, you can tap the KS200M, tap the Settings icon at the top right corner, then go to the Device Info page to find the switch's info, such as hardware, firmware, MAC, etc.

If you encounter the phenomenon that the KS200M can't keep the connected light on, it may be because a default Smart Control rule is set on the switch. You can refer to the following instructions to have a check.
How To Configure the Motion Sensor Feature on the KS220M/KS200M Smart Switch

Best Regards
