Kasa Cameras will not connect after I installed Kasa HS200 Smart Switch

Model: Kasa HS200

Firmware Version:

I installed a Kasa HS 200 smart switch and that is when all my trouble started. All Kasa cameras where working fine. Now Kasa cameras will not work on 5G WPA 3 or WPA 2, I use Cox. I worked on setting up a new connection 2.4 G/WPA because that is all Cox will allow, nothing? Is there a simple router that will connect to Cox 5G WPA and simply create a 2.4 system?

Hi,
If Cox provides your home internet via an Ethernet cable, and you need a Wi-Fi router connected to that internal cable, then the router provides both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. A typical dual-band Wi-Fi router is sufficient. If this is not your use case, you might contact Cox to find out what equipment you need to provide your home with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connections.

After setting up your home Wi-Fi network, we recommend testing with your phone to see if both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks are working. If yes, you can try factory resetting your cameras and HS200, then configure them in the Kasa app and see if they will work. Below are the setup instructions.

How to set up my TP-Link Smart Plug/Switch via Kasa
How do I set up my Kasa Cam?

Best Regards
