I get this white strip at night. No lights on in the backyard, facing the woods. Constantly there.

Hi,
The screenshot you provided does not look like a Tapo C660's live view page; the page layout is different. Please double-check your camera's model and version information. For example, in the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page, you can find the camera's model number, hardware, and firmware version. Are you watching the camera in the Tapo app?

 

When the camera works in Day mode, please send us a picture of its Live View page. Thanks!
