I am attempting to connect my smart plug to the Kasa app. I get this screen Everytime, and when I click OK, it takes me back to the home screen and tells me there are no devices connected.

It looks like smart plug failed to get cloud service from router, and you could try some suggestions here: 

  • Turn off or lower Modem/ router Firewall settings 
  • Check if there is any Advanced settings on router like access control/ parental control settings may affect the camera
  • Change router's DNS to 8.8.8.8/ 8.8.4.4
  • Turn OFF AP isolation/ Client isolation on router 
  • Connect plug to router directly rather than through RE or AP
  • Confirm Kasa app is up to date, you could try a different cell phone if possible

 

If the same problem, may I know the model of your router and your network topology ? How about the Led status on plug when APP report the Error? 

What is the model of your phone and its Andriod/ IOS version?
