KS 230 Reboots
The switches were connected and working fine other than dropping off wifi. Now whenever I use either switch they both lock up and the main switch reboots and and they both start working again. But after using either one it locks and reboots. When it does come back online the wifi LED flashes green/amber. I removed it from app and tried adding back but I can no longer see the TP-Link SSID.
I checked wiring and it is wired exactly as stated in wiring schematic. I suspect its possibly a FW issue.

I would highly recommend first performing a factory reset of the device and setting the device up again. This may fix any bugs that have occurred or popped up in the firmware for your device. After setting up the device again, check to see if there are any firmware updates for your device.

@Riley_S if you are referring to pressing and holding the reset for 10 seconds I've done that and it still won't show the SSID. Is there another reset method?

Ordered the v2 kit, installed and connected it within 15 minutes. Works just fine. Sent the v1 back to Amazon.

Apologize for the Inconvenience. However, you will most likely enjoy the v2 much more. There were quite a few improvements made to both the chips and the functionality that improved the experience tenfold.
What did you think of the v2 setup compared to the v1?
The engineers made quite a few changes to the wiring of the devices, such as not requiring the travelers to match positions on the satellite switch?

hard to say. I already knew how to wire it so it wasn't that difficult. I still lined up the travelers so I didn't try Mia matching them. As far as usage all I've done is turn on/off, Dim and setup Alexa. Only thing I recall is that I thought that with the satellite switch the LED never turned on with v2 but it does. I can however turn it off in app so no big deal.

Out of curiosity, as the LED indicator not turning on was something we had seen multiple of and is not expected behavior:
Did the satellite switch function correctly, even though the light would never turn on? Usually, the issue was a result of an incorrect neutral connection or mismatched traveller; which would also limit the functionality of the device.

@Riley_S actually the satellite switch lLED indicator does turn on. What I meant was that I recall reading that this indicator light can be turned off whereas on v1 it could not be. I could be wrong. But both switches are working correctly and I can turn off the indicator light via the app.
