Model: Tapo RV10Lite
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

The main brush got stuck from pet hair and the vacuum stopped and the app threw a notification. I flipped the machine over, removed the brush, cleaned it up, and flipped it back in the same spot. Pressed the red blinking home button and then the flashing Start button. Looking at the app all the progress is gone in the app, Correction the machine seems to continue though where it stopped before and not re-do everything. So might be an App issue

It did restart without knowledge and is cleaning everything again.

  @mkostersitz,

Unfortunately, the robot vacuum is dependent on where it believes it is in relation to the Dock and this would be the expected behavior.

As soon as the robot vacuum is moved, kicked or disturbed while it is cleaning, the vacuum will restart from the beginning or be unable to path back to the charging dock, as it is unable to distinguish both how well it has cleaned and if it has been moved from its previous location.

  @Riley_S Thanks Riley,

I think a user controlled "Continue" function would be helpful. i,e, when the bin is full or the main brush get stuck, I would not move it from where it paused, empty the bin, clean the brush whatever and press continue it could simply go on with the knowledge it had. If you wanted to make it even more precise you could do a 360 degree scan, store that so that and use it to find the previous spot as long as it is in the same area as before.
