Mine is flashing orange and green. then I go to wifi and select the TP-HS200 and go back to the app and it says it can't be found. very close to the router.

If Kasa APP fails to find the Kasa device and reports Unable to Connect to Your smart device’s Wi-Fi, please refer to Case 2 in this FAQ.
What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?
Factory reset the switch.
Press and hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds until the Wi-Fi status LED blinks amber rapidly to factory reset the Smart Switch.
Ensure your mobile device has connected to the Smart Switch WiFi before returning to Kasa APP.
E.g. The WiFi shows connected and the network status symbol on the notification bar changes to WiFi symbol.
Turn off mobile data to avoid auto-switching networks.
Disable VPN if any.
Change a different mobile device to configure the device if you have one.
