@Silkcat You just use the built-in Windows Network utilities to see if it is connected. Settings>Network and it will show connected if working. Did you install the drivers for it?

@Bill-T a router should work with any operating system, it doesn't care the operating system of the client connecting to it. Just make sure your client machine is using the required security mode...
