By reset, do you mean you did a full factory reset? If not do a full factory reset. Are you able to sign on to the router by using a PC connected to the router via an Ethernet cable?

Be sure to page down and look for a 'save' button. Also try to change it in the advanced section if your interface has one.

I assume your laptop works on other WIFI networks. The first thing I would check is to see what mode you have the WIFI in. If you have it as AX or AC only that may be your problem. Try changing it....
