@Kerrith I would start by swapping out the Ethernet cable, any other cable then the one being used. Factory resetting the router and also checking the firmware to make sure that is up to date.

It looks like there was an official firmware released that addresses the connection issue as well. There should be a notification in Tether or by logging into the router. For those where it is now...

@jrbnc The Deco uses WPA2/WPA-AES/TKIP mixed. You should be able to see what method you are using by looking at the connection properties of your device.
