Dear @indigo,

thanks for the beta-version. I just installed it to test the features of the hotspot voucher portal:

Coming from 3.x going trough v4.2.11 I migrated to 5.2.4 (beta). Seems to work this way but all the already created vouchers get "Client Duration" as default value. But for us it should be "Voucher Duration" - any ideas how to change that?

Thank you for your valuable feedback. For "Client Duration", each new connected client using the same voucher code to get authenticated can have Internet access for a same duration time. While for "Voucher Duration", once the first client has used the voucher code to get authenticated, the duration countdown begins and the voucher code will be expired after the duration time is up no mater how late other clients get authenticated.

The previous controller version seems to adopt the "Client Duration" mechanism, so all your previously created vouchers get "Client Duration" as default value. Sorry that I don't find the option to change them to "Voucher Duration" either.

Best Regards! :) New to TP-Link Community? >>Get Started Here<<.

Dear @abhi182,

Has the WAN fail over issue been sorted out?

To elaborate, er605 in standalone mode supports custom pings to detect WAN status. This works for failover if primary wan goes down.

In omada managed mode, this option is not available and the default online detection fails to detect WAN outage on the primary for static IP wan setups

Sorry for any trouble caused. I'm afraid that the Manual option for Online Detection hasn't been added on Controller v5.2 yet.

I've recorded this to the developer team for further confirmation.

  @Fae How can i be included in the BETA testing?

Thank you for your support. At present, all of our community users have the access to the Beta testing.

I'll actively update this post once there is a new controller version available, including the Beta edition, welcome to subscribe!

  @Fae Thanks for your reply.

As I already described in my thread https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/533962?replyId=1065068 the behaviour of the previous versions is strange and for a reasonable usage of the voucher function "Voucher Duration" should be the default state. I cannot imagine a usagecase for "Client Duration", especially when switching MAC-adresses of the device.

  @Fae

I have recently bought a brand new EAP610-Outdoor connected via WIFI only.

Sadly it is loosing  connectivity with the "Channel Limit" enabled.

As i did not test with v5.1.7 I do not know if it is only a Beta version problem.

  @MatthiasLoi

What channel do you use on root EAP? when enable channel limit is ch100 the lowest on outdoor EAP, if you have root ap on ch36 they newer could speak to each other.

  @shberge

Thanks for fast response!

Everything is set to use channel "Auto"

In fact the Indoor AP (Uplink) is using channel 44. Also with channel limit enabled - it is keeping this setting.

If I understand you correctly, I have to set the channel to over 100 manually?
