Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi,

My plugs with firmware 1.3.0 Build 220624 Rel. 171733 are OK

but JSON API access to those upgraded to firmware 1.3.0 Build 230905 Rel. 152200 no longer works.

I've turned off auto update to protect the others but 3 already received the corrupting update.

I'm not sure as I'm using someone else's library (python library PyP100) but I believe they are no longer replying with JSON (rather just HTML 200's)

The library appears to be failing on the first handshake call, expecting a JSON response and receiving a HTML one.

Could this please be fixed. I've 3 devices which already have the corrupting update so I can help by applying a fixed update on one to see if it fixes it.

  @benhelps

It's better to email the original developer or find another one who provides the same document for p110. I don't see much discussion about the open-source use of the tapo devices in this community, possibly they don't support it officially.
