Do devices need to be within range of the hub, or simply a wifi network on the LAN?
Thinking about getting the T310 temperature / humidity sensor for our animal barn. I have a C210 camera in there now with no problems.
I know I would need a hub for the T310, but does the T310 need to be within direct wifi range of the HUB? Or, can the T310 simply connect to the same wifi that the camera is on?
The wifi network and the Tapo hub would be on the same LAN.
Thanks for any input!

Tapo T310 sensor connects to Tapo hub via Sub-GHz wireless which operates on a different frequency than the traditional 2.4GHz wireless.
Simply speaking, and to answer your question, the T310 sensor should be within the range of the Tapo hub, and the Tapo hub should be within the range of the host router. You can get a better idea of how these devices are connected by looking at the diagram below.

@Wayne-TP Am I right in thinking the H200 can be connected via 'either' a cable or 2.4GHz wifi? As the diagram doesn't show that?
Thanks.

Tapo H200 supports both wired and wireless (2.4GHz) connections. However, a wired connection is needed for configuration. After that, users can switch the connection type for the H200 to wireless in Tapo App if wanted.

@Wayne-TP Thanks, yes that's what I thought. Your diagram above shows it as 'wired' which may confuse some people...
