@David-TP so this is a new build of 1.5.1? Should I better wait untill this build is officially released and pushed throughout Deco app? Because of the issues like not obtaining IP-adresses, in the old 1.5.1 version..

Hi, yes, the new build is a beta version to improve the current reported issue on the official 1.5.1.
If the official 1.5.0 build 0417 works well on your Deco, I think you could wait for the official version later.
Thank you very much and best regards.

I have doownloaded and installed on my Deco X55 v1.0 but the files and the web gui show a different version than what is listed above. When I download the firmware it shows as "20240605-rel44380" and not "20240701 build"- am i doing something wrong?

Hi, Thank you very much for the notification. You didn't do anything wrong but I did.
I used the firmware uploading date instead of the firmware release build.
Is the beta firmware working as expected so far?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

Thank you David
I would say it's better, especially the "unable to find deco" error after my mobile screen locks and i try to get back to the app.
The app will now let me modify connection preferences for non-roaming devices but it doesn't seem to want to enforce it.
Still a few devices that are connected and online via wifi that the app doesn't list with the wifi icon
Still getting a number of drops and slow internet often as well as a lot of errors in the logs about multicast igmp addresses
Havent had a chance yet to try VPN, QOS, or any guest/iot features (which basically doesn't seem tyo do much anyway)
The only way to seem to be able to use NAT Forwarding reliably seems to be by using upnp but there is no way to be able to see which clients have opened ports.
Just my initial impression..

@David-TP Is this firmware also good to install on the X50 Outdoor? I have an issue that the app somehow does not list my devices in the "Online clients" list while they are actually online. I can visit them in my browser by their networkname "myname.local" and on my Windows machine they show up when I do "arp -a". They have a dynamic addresses given to them by the main Deco DHCP server.

@David-TP the firmware works ok for two days, but then the same issue occurred . Most device are not showing online. The only online devices are the four TP-Link smart switches i have added to the deco app.

@David-TP I installed the BETA version two days ago and so far the issues about disappearing devices seems to be solved.
Is this firmware updating to the next official release once available or do I have to do manual steps?

Thank you very much for your time and patience.
The previous 1.5.1 has been removed from the official websites for further optimization.
And a new version 1.5.5 is in the release process. It could be detected on the Deco APP as early as next week.
Best regards.
