Mesh is supported on the all-in-one ER7212PC controller platform now.

I recommend you consider the OC200 + Omada router setup instead of the ER7212PC unless your network is very limited.

For more information, check the product page and learn about it. If you need future proof, and the network grows quickly, get the recommendation plan or upgrade to OC300 and flagship model instead of the all-in-one.

The number of devices on the network averages at 10 online a time with 1gb broadband.  There would be a mesh of 2 APs.  Would the ER7212PC handle that appropriately?  or is there an alternative you'd suggest even for that number?

It can but if you are sure that your network is not gonna explode in a short time, the ER7212PC will handle it.

If you are gonna expand and it potentially grows larger, you should consider the alternative plan I gave earlier.

Buyer guide, a gentle reminder, ER7212PC is in its mid-term lifespan as the hardware resources are reaching the limit. Please note this if you insist on this model. Firmware will continue to be released but some resource-heavy features may not be included.

Any of the Omada model can take care of the 10 online at a time. That's not an issue.
