Hi all!

Really hope I can get some guidance here.

A friend recently bought a SG2210XMP-M2 to replace his router and fiber converter. It's a fiber converter and a simple router from Swedish internet provider Telia.

The plan was to plug the SFP into the switch and replace bot older units. This works, kind of. We can get internet working with the switch but I'm unsure of how to configure the switch to work as a DHCP router and how to set up VLANs to get the ipTV to work.

I tried to configure the switch with the mobile app but I can't find any of the configuration pages for VLAN or DHCP in the app. Also tried the webGUI, activated DHCP but that didn't seem to work.

In short.

I would like to use on of the SFP-ports as WAN.

I would like the switch to also function as his DHCP-server.

I would like to configure VLAN to one of the LAN-ports. Preferable port 8. VLAN ID 845, priority 4.

The rest of the ports should be used as ordinary LAN with internet access.

Really grateful if someone could guide me how to set this up.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Please don't use the app to configure the complex features. Some complex functions will never be added to the app for configuration but for viewing. The app allows simple feature configuration.

This is a switch and it does not support NAT. Based on the first request, you are wrong about this product. Read the specs: https://www.tp-link.com/en/business-networking/omada-switch-smart/sg2210xmp-m2/#specifications

DHCP server is doable and it can be a DHCP server. How to configure switch as DHCP server on Standalone mode

Same to the answer above.

These ports are LAN(switching) for local access or Internet if you have Internet supply to them but prior to the Internet access, you have to have a NAT.
