As for the detection performance of the Tapo C410, it should be noted that the Tapo C410 is a battery-powered camera, to ensure that the battery can support long-term operation without frequent recharging, the camera will only wake up when the PIR sensor detects activity (and when watching it in the Tapo app), at which point it will begin monitoring and recording. At other times, it remains in standby mode. If you need a more sensitive detection feature, we recommend considering an AC-powered camera model. These models can continuously monitor the video feed and instantly detect any changes, the detection feature will be much improved when there is no wake-up step.
