Model: Tapo C220
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.2

Sir ji regarding C220 have some questions whose answer I want to know. My first question is that after installing the SD card in this C220, can I see the streaming of the camera on TV or PC via RTSP/ONVIF My next question is when I make a call from this room the sound is very slow so much that I can't even hear it There is also an option to hold the mic button in the room and if I talk to it, I get a very loud sound, whereas when I call, the voice sound is not even half of that. The third problem is that when the alarm rings in the room, it makes a very loud noise and distorted sound. The next question is whether the tags can be seen in the recorded video apart from the live feed, because in this room the tags like person, pet etc. are visible in the life footage but are not visible in the recorded video.

Hi,
Please refer to the following information about your concerns.

1. On most Tapo cameras, including the Tapo C220, Tapo Care, SD card, and RTSP/Onvif software cannot be used simultaneously to record videos or stream. You can only choose two of them at the same time. If you have not subscribed to the Tapo Care service, after inserting an SD card into the Tapo C220, you can also establish the RTSP/Onvif stream with the camera.

2. When you use the Call feature in the Tapo app, you may turn off the Mic (beside the Call icon) when you talk to the phone, and check if the sound on the camera side will be louder.

3. On the camera's Device Settings > Alarm page, you can adjust the alarm sound volume on the Sound Type page.

4. If the Detection Tag feature is enabled on the camera's Live View page, on the Playback & Download > Playback > SD card page, for example, if you see a video clip under Detected Events with a person icon, usually, the Person tag will appear when you watch the video clip.

Best Regards

Answer to Point 4:
This means that the Person, Pet, or other detection tags can only be viewed when you are playing back the videos recorded on the camera’s SD card. These tags will not appear on the cloud-recorded videos. Therefore, if you want to see detection tags in the recorded videos, you need to insert and use an SD card in the camera.
