@David-TP Unfortunately, it's set to 192.168.1.40 and there's no way to change it without access to it.  So, it's a Catch-22:  I need to change it to make it work, but I need to make it work to change it.

Right now on Amazon, the BE3600 Wi-fi 7 wireless router is on special.  Since I can't get the identical Spectrum router except to rent it from Spectrum, will the B3600 accept 192.168.1.40?  If not, does TP-Link have one that will?  If not, can you at least point my in the right direction?

The reason why I'm looking at the BE3600 is that it SPECIFICALLY says that it is NAS compatible, while your lower-priced routers do not.

  @David-TP David - I got it.  All I had to do was the old paperclip in the reset of my EX4100 for 5 seconds and it rebooted with an IP of 192.168.68.125 and then I went into the EX4100 control panel and set that address (as good as any) to static.

Windows 11 File Explorer didn't even need new mapping!

Now, do I have to reserve this on the app or is it automatically reserved or did the S$ assign it to the EX4100 automatically?

One last thing on my wish list...is it possible to now move the EX4100 to the access point in my home office or does it have to stay at the wireless router (main S4) in my living room?
