I had my camera for less than a year. When I had to check for something in the recording, it sadly had not captured anything because the sd card was already full.

 

I opted to format the sd to make room. However, after a while of recording and after I closed the app, I checked back if it is really recording again. NO RECORDING can be found. 🥲​ ffs.

 

I tried to reboot, unplugged and plugged back in, and I followed the suggested troubleshsoot setti​ngs from the website. ​

 

​None worked.

 

IT RECORDS THEN AFTER A WHILE IT ​DOESN'T.

 

Is there a problem in the camera? the app? or sd card?

 

Does anybody experience this too?

Please refer to the instructions below to check if your recording settings are configured correctly.
How can I store the Tapo camera video recordings on a microSD card
 

If the recording settings are correct but the camera does not record videos on the SD card, please confirm the following information for analysis.
  1. What's the model number and capacity of your SD card?
  2. Please send us the screenshots of the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording, Local Storage, and Recordings Schedule pages.
