Web UI kepps logging me out
Hi,
whenever I try try to access the web ui of my 3 node Deco x50 mesh-wifi, the system keeps logging me out after a few seconds.
I've read about this error and a fixed firmware for HW V3, but I can not find a similar update for V1. ![]()
Can anyone Help me in this topic?

Hi, welcome to the community.
Will you also get logged out when you're in the middle of an operation, or mainly when the web admin UI is mostly idle?
You can find the IP address of each satellite Deco X50 under the device settings in the Deco App. Will you have the same issue on the individual web UI of the satellite Deco X50?
Please also test on different web browsers to see whether the issue continues.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi @David-TP,
thank you, for the fast reply.
I started to evaluate all kind of browser / cache / ad and tracker blocker extension deactivation. But in the middle of my tests, I remembered something I did a long time ago.
I have a homeassistant instance running, monitoring my network - And I've added the TP-Link Deco integration from HACS.
This integration queries the deco every 30 seconds for available network devices/parameters, using the user "admin" and the deco owners password.
The integrations documentation mention, to create and switch to another administrator management user for deco app.
And I think, even when the initial owner name is shown as my selected name (sven), it is deco internally named as "admin" and this is why, every time the HA integration does a query and logs out afterwards, my running session from the browser, where I can not even choose an username, is invalidated.
So I did a test and deactivated the HA integration and was no longer logged out from the browser session after several minutes.
As soon as I re-activated the integration, the browser session was logged out nearly immediately.
Can you confirm, that the username used by the browser pager is in fact "admin"?
And is there a possibility, to allow using another management account from the browser, like you allow from within the deco app?
best regards,
Sven

Regarding the username:
No, the username for the Deco web interface is not "admin" it's your TP-Link ID (email address). According to our knowledge base, when you access the Deco web interface at http://tplinkdeco.net or https://tplinkdeco.net, you need to:
• Use the password of your TP-Link ID/Account to login (not your Wi-Fi password)
Keep the following in mind everything listed below was also taken from the knowledge base but there is no way to enter the TP-Link ID (email address) in the webUI as far as I know. If there is a way to do this @David-TP would know but he won't be back at work till Sunday night 9 or 10 PM EST
Regarding using Manager accounts:
Yes, it should be possible to use Manager accounts to access the web interface. Here's how it works:
The TP-Link ID (email address) used to create the Deco network is designated as the "Owner" of the network. If you wish to allow others to manage your Deco network, you can add them as "Managers":
1. Open the Deco app and navigate to More > Managers
2. Tap "Add a Manager", enter the Manager TP-Link ID (email address) you wish to add, and confirm
3. In the upper right corner, tap the gear icon to edit the permissions of the Managers, including Network Management, Client Management, and IoT Management
4. Once added, managers can log in to the Deco app using their TP-Link ID
Since the web interface accepts TP-Link ID credentials for login, Manager accounts (which are also TP-Link IDs) should be able to access the web interface using their TP-Link ID email and password, subject to the permissions granted to them.
