Hi  @Solla-topee, Team,
I had a chance to update my X50-POE last weekend and run several tests.
1. Connecton was stable - My old ricoh printer connected without isses, old Dell notebook, Macbook, iPhone, Samsung phones connected without issues (2,4 and 5GHz)
2. As I reported issues and need with Singnal strengh indicator and values I focused mostly on that part.
A) signal indicator presenting the signal between deco nodes looks fine / works fine, but I did not have chance to move the nodes to much:  -77dBm seems to be right in my setup.: (by defult connected with ethernet)

B) I noticed issue  with reporting  device's signal ,wireless bandwidth and encription connected to X50-POE:
-82 or 124 dBm does not looks like "strong signal :) "

No issues with devices connected to main X50 (latest 1.8 firmware)

  @JouJek

Hi,
Please provide the following information for further analysis.

  1. On the Deco app > Network tab, please click on a Deco, and send us a picture of this page. Then tap Show Map and send us a picture of the map page again.
  2. Do you have Deco X50 and X50-PoE in your Deco network? What are their hardware and firmware versions?
  3. When the Galaxy S23 and iPhone connect to the Deco X50, please send us the screenshots of the Device Info pages for the two phones.

Best Regards

Hi,
A beta firmware for the main Deco X50 V1.0 has been sent to you via a private message. Please download the firmware, unzip it, and then update it via the Deco's web UI. Then test if client devices connected to the satellite Deco display the correct device info.

Re:Deco X50/X50Pro/X50-PoE Pre-Release Firmware 1.7.0 Introduces DoH/DoT, Channel Selection, and More!
Friday

  @Solla-topee

Happy to see there finally is some updates coming to the X50 Pro.

Could I with limited risk join this test on my X50 Pro devo's?

Regarding the upcoming firmware it would be great if some annoying small issues could be fixed along with the next release:

- I'm unable to name new clients

- The ability to select preferred deco's for clients

These options where standard before on my M9's both don't work anymore now I switched my old M5/M9 setup to a M9/X50pro setup.

Hi  @Solla-topee
I updated my main X50 deco using the FW provided via PM but it does NOT help with clients info and statitics connected to X50-POE.

FW info:

X50-POE (name Kominek) still has isses with signal and wireless details:
- iPhone:

Samsung - signal 124dBm :) :

The same devices when connected via main X50:

IMO there is nothing to do with X50 FW - even the ofccial release 1.8.0 is/was fine - The issue still seems to be 1.7.0 X50-POE related
