Future Consideration Possibility to change WiFi channels
There should be a way to change WiFi channel, or at least the system should change it by itself, choosing the least saturated one. For 2.4GHz it is clear that it will be almost impossible to select a free channel, but on the 5GHz I only see other 2 networks and we are all in the same channel! For at least one the reason may be that our neighboor is using a TP-Link product as well.
I think this is a very basic configuration in any WiFi device, which I would have never though was not going to be possible before buying it.

Just purchased P9, and if had known this would have gone with something else, will see how it goes for a few days but cannot believe it has sat on the most congested bands, where there are obvious gaps it could have used, crazy you cannot manually move to clear spaces!

Please tp-link, answer your customers, this has to be an easy fix! I've been waiting months!

Asking for the possibility to change channels on other similar devices, some friends of mine told me that, for example, Fritz!Box 7490 can automatically detect and select the less congestioned channel...
We're only asking for a manual selection, from TP-Link app...
Whoever is involved in TP-Link, please consider our request!!!!
Come on!!!

@duco67 apparently we've been told it find the least congested route already! It does not work if that is the case at the moment!

Same issue for us with a Deco M5. It's ridiculous that there's no option to change channel. We've started having issues with interference from other devices (IoT devices using ZigBee) and other networks. We can't disable the 2.4GHz network because a bunch of our devices (SkyQ, Ring etc.) aren't compatible with 5GHz, so it seems we're stuck if we can't try different WiFi channels. The rate we're going, our M5 will be going on Ebay.

@rww3 yes, I'm going to be swapping to another mesh system that has this feature as standard. Tplink, you need to pull it out the bag or risk losing a large customer base.

Finding the less congested channel is a feature that, if it is really present is not working at all. My routers will always use the same channels, and they will even use the same channels than other TP-Links of my neighbours.

Auto-channel selection seems to work in opposite way - it selects most occupied channel. To be honest, I'm really disappointed with the fact that I did not reach this forum before I bought my Deco. I would never buy tp-router then.
