Model: TD-W9970
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I am using a W9970 as a modem connected to a Nokia Beacon wireless router. When i setup my PPPoE connection on the Nokia router, I cannot connect to the W9970 GUI IP anymore.

I have contacted Nokia support who told me for the route back to the W9970 to work, I need to set a tagged VLAN. Does anyone know if the W9970 support this in modem/bridge mode and how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

@esieens

As per your description, the TD-W9970 is working at bridge mode and you may need to assign a static IP address in order to log into its web UI. You may try to assign a static IP address on your computer by an IP address 192.168.1.100 and a subnet 255.255.255.0, then check if you can log into the TD-W9970's web UI by 192.168.1.1.

Thanks - I have no propblem connecting to my W9970 web interface when directly connected to a LAN port on the W9970. But I cannot connect to it once I am connected behind my Nokia router.

Also if it helps,  access to the management interfacte of the W9970 only stops working once I have entered my PPPoE settting on my Nokia router. Before then, it works fine.
