Update:
Hi, there is already a plan to support changing MTU on Deco and you could vote to add more support:MTU size settings
And The latest firmware for Deco X50/Deco X55 starts supporting customizing MTU size.
Early Release VPN/Static Route/MTU Firmware for Deco X50/X55
For other models, It might still need some time.
Best regards.

Hi, May I know why do you want to customize the MTU settings on the Deco?

I have a problem with opening some internet resources and Instagram is one of such sites.
It consists, in particular, in interrupting (freezing) video playback. If to connect a VPN on the device (and thereby enable additional fragmentation), then everything works fine.
I have a connection via PPPoE - this is most probably the root cause. All my previous routers of different vendors have had MTU setting.
And, at least, it is strange that deco routers does not have such a setting

I am also needing to change the MTU settings on my Deco M4R router.
The reason being chromecast (when casting from PC - desktop cast), will freeze after a few seconds.
I have observed that when there is minimal movement on the desktop (less packets), the cast works for a few seconds longer.
When some program is opened up, i suspect more packets are being moved and it freezes.
This problem has been viewed before and increasing the MTU will help solve it. Please view the youtube link below and also the comments section.

Hi, I am not sure changing MTU size would help but before it is available, there are some other suggestions for your reference:
1. make sure the laptop is connected to 5Ghz, not 2.4ghz.
2. turn off the fast roaming on the Deco APP.
3. turn off the Mesh Technology for the PC on the Deco APP.

Hi All,
I am using Deco x60, and I also want to know about this MTU size setting.
I could not find it anywhere. This MTU size setting is available on the router but not the deco.
My ISP requires that we use a specific MTU size 1462, otherwise some web sites, resources do not work.
For example, with my new Deco x60 - Minecraft Windows 10 edition was no longer able to start up, and had to apply a workaround.
Then it stopped signing into Microsoft account.
I restored back to use my router, and everything is back to normal.
When can we expect this MTU size setting to be available for Deco?
Thanks
