I tried the link u gave. The zip file which got downloaded from there is just 641kb and it does not even contain any setup files. I tried installing via device manager as well by selecting the folder manually but it did not work as well.

 

Btw I have another windows 10 PC as well and this adapter works fine there. I don't remember how I installed it there. It's been there for couple of years.

 

Also u said there are no Windows 10 drivers for v1. But I could not find windows7/8 drivers as well for V1. There is no driver sub section for V1. (see screenshot in my post above)

 

Below are screenshots from my other windows 10 pc where it works fine:

The Tp-link, may upload drivers for TL-WN722N V1 for windows 10.

Or please tell how to differentiate this same adapter in V1 and V3.

As so i think this device is wastage as it is not useable with windows 10.

@Hyder67 It somehow worked on windows 10 with the windows 8 utility given on the link u gave. Strange.

@hunny020 yes dear it works on windows 10 but i have experienced after sometime intenet became Limited and no browsing carried out. I restart my router than again it works fine and after sometime same Limited Internet comes up and stop browsing.

Well know I am using Ethernet Cable and searching new adaptor which supports Windows 10.

Thanks dear, first i will find this product in my country Pakistan, than surely will install this driver. Well any suggestion for another new Wifi receiver, may please share it.

Hi, for the driver I provided, you need to install it manually and you can refer to the instruction. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/920/

I saw the other person who provided you a link to download Utility and you can make it work now.

Since the Utility may discover the driver and it may help you install the driver, you can use the driver well.

About the issue you referred, the V1 driver doesn't include the Win 7&8, either on our official website.

Actually, we haven't advertised that the adapter for V1 version supports Windows 10 before, and we also don't suggest our customer to use the adapter on Windows 10.

Like I said, the driver I provided is a third party driver which supports win 10 system and you can try it.(https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202006/20200628/722n v1.zip)

Since it is from the third party driver, it may have some unknown issues, we cannot guarantee the performance and stability and won’t provide further support.
