Fail to connect to TP-link cloud - RE505x
Hello all,
I tried to connect several times to TP-link cloud my newly bought range extender RE505x but I failed every time. I got the the message: Requested time out.
Please give me an idea what could be wrong!

Hello everyone,
Please confirm your RE505X / RE605X firmware is the latest, if not, try to update the firmware manually to the latest first, then check again if it can connect to the cloud.

If the issue persist, can you please confirm if this RE is connected to an Onemesh router? What is the model number & firmware of your router?
What if you disconnect the RE505X from the Onemesh network, and only leave it connected as a normal extender, will it be able to connect to the cloud server then link to the account?

Did you try to bind the cloud via Tether APP or via web interface?
Can I have a picture of the error message ‘Requested time out’?
If you try to log into the following website with your cloud ID, would you get any error message: https://www.tplinkcloud.com/?

Hello,
I tried all the options, I mean via Tether APP and via web interface from the LAN.
When I try to log into https://www.tplinkcloud.com/ the repeater it shows me after few seconds that the site is not available.
The repeater works behind an AX10 router that successfully connects to the cloud...

the tp cloud in re505x works now only when I put network settings obtain an ip auto. when i put use the following ip address its not working.
