Model: Archer TX3000E
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 21.10.1.1

Hi

I recently bought this adapter for my computer and installed the last version drivers from the website.

Wifi is working fine, altough I don't really use it.

But I had some issues with Bluetooth, where it would not be available because of a driver failure.

I figured out that it occurs when I resume my computer from sleep mode.

Restarting the driver by disabling and reenabling it works, but is not ideal.

I already tried reinstalling multiple times the Bluetooth driver, but nothing changed.

Here's some event I had that (maybe) could help.

Level     Date and Time Source     Event ID Message
Error 20.09.2020 22:25:30 BTHUSB 17 The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded.
Warning 20.09.2020 22:25:29 e1rexpress 27 Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection
 Network link is disconnected.
Information 20.09.2020 22:25:29 Netwtw10 7025 7025 - Dump after return from D3 before cmd

I appreciate your help

Edit.

I just noticed a similar post just after posting this thread and I noticed I have a similar PC config (processor, motherboard) :

As well, here's the bluetooth driver version

@Teaberry Hello,

Please try the chipset Bluetooth driver from Intel and see if this helps with the problem,  the latest version  is  22.30.0  for now,

@esn I think I resolved my issue (after updating to latest Intel BT drivers and TP-link latest wifi drivers). I went to the wifi adapter properties, in Power Management, I un-checked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" . I had mine in standby mode and after coming back, my bluetooth device was still connected. I hope it helps.

@esn I have exactly the same problem, reported last week, apparently we all have the same MotherBoard, could this have something to do?

@esn any resolution to this issue? I recently got a TP-Link AX3000 PCIe card and have the same issue on a Dell Precision T3500 desktop system. Bluetooth fails when waking up from sleep unless i disable/enable in device manager. Thank you.

@Solla-topee

I am having the exact same issue, no driver-related troubleshooting step has worked at all. Will TP-Link offer refunds on items that are defective?

@maccorf Hello,

May I know did you try the Intel latest Bluetooth driver 22.30.0 but still get the same issue?

If so, it is recommended to upgrade Bios for the motherboard ( go to your motherboard’s support / download page on the manufacturer’s website to find the latest Bios.)

This FAQ helps you to find the motherboard info:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/

For your refund request,  unfortunately TP-Link does not provide refunds according to our RMA policy, normally if a product is diagnosed to be faulty after troubleshooting, local support could help you with the replacement when device is still in the warranty (please refer to local RMA policy).  For your wish, we recommended you contact and coordinate with the retailer at first and see whether they can help with a refund directly.

@Solla-topee thank you for the suggestion. I tried the latest intel driver and still have bluetooth issue upon wake up from sleep. I have the latest bios update for the Dell Precision T3500. For now I disable the bluetooth and enable in device manager as a temporary solution. Any patch for it? I may look into a batch file later. Thank you.
