Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0

I have an Archer VR600 connected to internet via ISP fiber optic converted to Ethernet in WAN port. The router is set to Wireless router mode, no VLAN tagging.

Wireless clients works fine but wired clients loose internet access from time to time.

I tried to use different Ethernet cables and use the several LAN ports of the router but I get the same results.

While this loose accrues, the wired clients still appear on the network (I can ping them) but they cannot access internet. At this time, wireless clients are able to access so it is not an ISP problem.

What can I do in order to solve this issue?

Thanks.

@AG.

May I know what are the devices connected to the VR600 LAN? Do you mean they still get the correct IP address from the router, while there is no internet access?

Try to change the DNS server on the VR600 to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then reboot the modem as well as the VR600 to confirm.

@Kevin_Z

I set these DNS addresses, no change. I still get internet disconnections on wired LAN.

The clients are XBOX One S and Xiaomi Mi Box.

@AG.

Hi, thanks for getting back.

Have you ever tried other devices to connect to the VR600 LAN? Will they work just fine?

Can you please confirm again that if the XBOX One S and Xiaomi Mi Box can still get an IP address from the VR600 when they disconnect from the internet? Try to set a static IP address on them and monitor again.
