Thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community.
There is no beta firmware to select the band manually on the MR400 v4, can you please confirm why do you require this? Is the band or internet connection not stable, or there is any issue with the auto band selection? Please kindly provide as more details as you can, then we will check how to fix it.
Have a nice day.

Hello @Kevin_Z, thank you answer me.
The only problem i have is for the instable signal. I test with my phone and it can reach better results. Close to my house there many provider that can deliver bands 1, 3, 7 and 20, so i was wondering to make a test just using two of this (3 and 7 for the data capacity).
Thank you again and have a nice day

It seems you are requiring the Carrier Aggregation feature on the MR400? While MR400 doesn't support it.
Can you please verify the band is switching when the internet drops on the MR400? What is the band before the drop and what is that after? Have you tested the internet connection by connecting a computer to the MR400 with an Ethernet cable directly?
Meanwhile, please check and confirm you have a stable internet when you put this SIM card on the phone or on another LTE router. BTW, who is the SIM card carrier?

Hi Kevin
Same problem as the original poster. My provider offers Band 3,5 and 40 - Archer MR400 sticks to Band 40 that delivers speeds less than 1Mbps while band 3 and 5 from same LTE tower offers more than 5Mbps DL and UL. I was able to validate this by testing on my mobile phone. Please share the beta Firmware for locking band as soon as possible. Am willing to provide more details if required.

@Kevin_Z , could this firmware solve my problem:
I am a bargeman and the Archer400 is installed on my ship. I have a dutch internet-contract with Vodafone with roaming accorded. Crossing the Dutch or French border, automatic selection of the provider (mostly Proximus, c.q. SFR) doesn't always give the best connection. Could the Beta firmware give me the possibility to select another provider out of a list of possible providers in the region, where I am? Or is there another possibility to select a better connection? How do I proceed?
