Hi,

 

I am getting random [no internet access] and [Wan cable is unplugged] on my Archer A7.

The funny part is that on the wifi I do not have any Internet, but on cable my IPTV (with Setbox) keeps running (I can change chanels and ec, it is not just buffered).

 

This fixes by either restarting the rooter or just unplug/plug of the WAN cable.

 

I have enabled auto restart every night in order to minimize the impact (so that if I am away for a few days- it will eventually start working).

 

In logs I see that the router gets 0.0.0.0:

 

2021-02-10 08:51:14 dhcpc[12964]: <6> 210051 send discover with ip 0.0.0.0 and flags 8000

 

 

Is there any firmware that resolves that?

Hi, I am using firmware version: 1.1.0 Build 20201120 rel.50399(4555) I have disabled the every day auto-restart and since then - I do not have any issues with the "WAN cable is unpludgged"

Today the same issue.

 

However the logs are full of dhcp server requests from my internal network and i can not see any other events.

 

My guess is that the internet goes away at 5 in the morning when i have scheduled reboot

Interesting is that the iptv setbox, running on cable on a bridged port works.. so the issue is woth the router itself.

 

There is no ping 6o the default gateway, to 8.8.8.8 or to the isp DNS

Just wondering if the issue is fixed by upgrading the router firmware or not? You can find the latest firmware on the TP-Link official website:

Who is your ISP? Please check and ensure you have a stable connection by connecting the ISP modem directly to the PC.
