Hello,

 

I want to turn off the wifi at night (so the kids can't get on it).  I set the schedule.  The time comes for the wifi to go off. It goes off, but then if I go to a device (mobile phone, ipad etc) and search for available wifi it is listed and I can re-connect.  When I look at the router home page, it says wireless is off.....but it works fine.

 

Any ideas please?

Hi, this issus is quiet unexpected.
May I know the hardware and firmware version of your Archer VR2100?

Have you seen the Wi-Fi LED lights on the modem turn off as well during the Wi-Fi schedule?

And do you have any range extender connected at home?

If testing on another mobile device, will you have the same issue?

If possible, would you mind going to Advanced>system tools>backup&restore to back up the current configuration files and send a copy to support.forum@tp-link.com, and please also add a copy of the system logs under system tools to the email as well.
